Qualitative analysis of Geo Data

Data is at the heart of any GIS. Its effectiveness and reliability therefore depend on the quality of its data. It is therefore essential to know the quality of data in order to manage and operate a GIS.

AXES Conseil has developed an innovative procedure for exhaustive control of GIS data, overcoming current approaches which generally rely on the translation of data specifications into computer rules on ad hoc software package.

The principle proposed by AXES Conseil is to generate a set of explicit indicators, easily exploitable afterwards by business players. The latter are then able to evaluate the indicators according to their uses and needs. This approach offers great analytical flexibility and does not require advanced IT skills or the acquisition of new software.

Particular emphasis is placed on assessing the quality of « ARC NODE » type data encountered in the field of networks, especially wet networks.
